Recap
Vegetarian week on Beachbody Ultimate Reset continues strong. Good deals on strawberries saved my breakfast dilemma. I planned to do two workouts today and they were awesome. Energy level good. I didn't feel depleted or too exhausted. Body weight was stable after losing 5 pounds, body fat still the same, but noticeably trimmer hips, legs and abs. Definitely abs! Vegetable juice once again floats my day and energy level. No quinoa today.Starting the day...
A little trip to the grocery store to pick up fruits, was fruitful. Scored 79 cents for a box of ripe strawberries and got breakfast for the week taken care of. Fruits with almond slices and cinnamon for breakfast before teaching Turbo Kick in the morning. I didn't bring any post workout snack with me other than drinking the Mineralize water then popped in a couple of almonds before rushing to shower.[ View post on Facebook ] |
Lunch for two was finishing the leftover mushroom soup. Andy is not on the detox with me, so for his bowl I added shredded rotisserie chicken.

Drats! I forget to boil the sweet potato... Pre workout was raspberries and blackberries plus vegetable juice I made this morning, and for post workout I had half a small banana, more berries and almonds while Andy got his "Hello Panda" chocolate cookie munchies.
Finally, dinner time! The recipe I had been waiting to try, Roasted Red Pepper Sweet Potato Bisque. I'm more of a textural person, so adding to the recipe was garlic pan roasted cauliflower, roasted red pepper and black beans. I had a small piece of purple sweet potato with the soup and was really full! Soupy stuff does that to me.

I could feel my body begging for rest, so time to zzz and onto day 11...
